Mat has previously worked in the UK not-for-profit sector for the mental health charity Mind and the legal rights organisation Prisoners' Advice Service. He is a Graduate of the University of Portsmouth and lives with his family in Bardon in Brisbane's west.

Debbie Kilvington, Support Worker
Debbie worked in the aged and palliative care industry for 19 years. She subsequently took a career change and worked in the construction industry for a number of years before returning to the community care sector by providing individual support to people with disabilities. Debbie joined SWARA in January 2009.

Baz has been at SWARA as a support worker for 4 years. She has always liked to work directly with people and provides great encouragement and assistance to the people that come to SWARA. Baz lives on the Gold Coast and enjoys time out with her family.

Adam Brooks, Support Worker
Adam has worked in the disability sector in Queensland for over 6 years. He studied at Southbank TAFE and gained a Certificate 4 in Community Welfare. Adam is also a qualified horticulturalist having been trained at Grovely TAFE. He is responsible for the SWARA gardens and has recently noticed something has gone missing. Prior to working in disability Adam spent a number of years working in the mining industry at Mount Isa.
